The photo unhides a beautiful natural arc that you can find
in the place memorial as "I Bagni della Regina Giovanna" in the near
of the city of Sorrento (Naples - Italy).
The name derives from a legend according to which the queen
Giovanna II of Angio' Durazzo (1371 - 1435) was usual to take a bath
in this mirror of sea.
Also, near this beautiful place, there are a lot of archaeological rests relative
to a maritime Villa of Sorrento.
The rests of this Villa constituted the party of a Roman construction,
perhaps belonging to Pollio Felice; it was directly on the sea and
was provided of an ancient fishpond and of a landing.
The construction of the Villa can be dated back to first half of the I Sec. after Christ.
